Why St. Joseph Hospital?
St. Joseph Hospital, a member of the Lutheran Health Network, is a 191-bed facility dedicated to meeting the ever-changing needs of neighborhoods in and around the heart of Fort Wayne. Building on a renewed emphasis from the community, St. Joseph continues to lead the charge by offering a growing list of advanced technologies provided with compassionate care.
Established in 1869, St. Joseph Hospital is Fort Wayne’s first hospital and today provides the community with quality healthcare services including emergency, inpatient and outpatient care; surgical services; rehabilitation; and diagnostic imaging, to name a few. It's also proud to offer both an Orthopaedic Center as well as unsurpassed care for regional patients in the areas of senior health services, hyperbaric medicine and wound care. The St. Joseph Regional Burn Center, verified by the American College of Surgeons and the American Burn Association, is northern Indiana's only verified adult burn center and one of only three burn centers in Indiana.
